My group focused on the Margay, scientifically known as the Leopardus Weidii. According to the Big Cat Rescue information page, there are less than 100 known to exist. I learned a lot during this project, both about the cat and about graphics programs. I used Macromedia Fireworks as well as Adobe photoshop to achieve the various fading, text, color and mask effects that I used. I chose to base my project off a single image, since it was visually stronger than the other combinations I had played with.
